Hope you are doing good, We are currently Implementing a solution using Openbots Agent and Openbots Server. We need a provision where the user system should be connected with agent once and the user should not have authorisation to disconnect the Agent. As there is a background schedule happening everyday in 10 to 15 System.

Yes, this point has been covered in OpenBots v1.6.1. You should only need to connect Agent manually once, after this, the connection will persist even if the machine or service is restarted. It will connect based on the latest connection string information.

Hi Openbots,

Is this point covered in 1.6 Openbot Studio. We are finding difficult to install the Agent if there is a upgradation. We need a provision to Start the Agent automatically when the system is powered on. Only one time the connect will be done in the client system, we don't want to click the agent but should be connected in background. Hope there is a solution for this. Please guide us if any one have any idea. Thanks.

As of Agent version 1.5.2 OpenBots Agent does not restart automatically. If the computer is restarted and service stops, then the Agent will disconnect and need to be connected manually again. We do appreciate the feature suggestion, we will take it into consideration as a future addition to Agent.
